The exhibition takes place in one of the most beautiful hall of the historic building Palazzo della Ragione in Bergamo, called Sala delle Capriate. The new wooden and steel elements add new geometry and establish new relationship with Bramante frescos and paintings of the hall, and with the permanent exhibition designed by Mario Botta.
A new totem inside the core of the circular display system, a large projected panel and a long table are independently oriented inside the room to create new ways of perceiving and living the environment. These structures host videos, images and objects of twelve different urban contexts, twelve ‘cores’ where urban design theories flourished.
