The award-winning Herman Miller Showroom was a flagship showroom designed for the Merchandise Mart. Herman Miller challenged Krueck+Sexton to update their image and expand their flagship showroom. The firm merged its interest in the possibilities of contemporary materials and emerging technologies with Herman Miller’s distinctive attitude toward design—functional, whimsical and intensely humanistic, to create for the furniture manufacturer a flagship showroom to crystalize their position as an industry leader.

An example of good design is good business, the showroom has been intact for over the past 10 years, an exception in the industry, and another example of the sustainable leadership and vision of the client.
