The Oslo Architecture Triennale (OAT) is one of two major architecture triennales taking place in 2013 (Lisbon is hosting the other, Close, Closer). The fifth OAT, which opened 19 September, is curated by Rotor and built around the theme Behind the Green Door – Architecture and the desire for sustainability. Rotor asks if architecture is up to the task of building the sustainable society and addresses it by collecting and exhibiting over 600 objects from projects that carry claims of sustainability. Stefano Boeri's Bosco Verticale in Milan has become a symbol of OAT through the image of a tree craned onto one of the tower's terraces. OAT runs until 1 December at DogA and other venues.
