The San Francisco chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) has announced the winners of the 2021 AIASF Design Awards. The awards were announced during a virtual ceremony held on the last day of June.

The AIASF Design Awards submissions are divided into three main categories (Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Unbuilt Design) and include three optional concentrations for commendations in Historic Preservation, Social Responsibility, and Urban Design. The jury* for the 2021 AIASF Design Awards decided to award projects in historic preservation and social responsibility plus one in "public design." Although AIASF dissolved the separate award category for energy and sustainability that was started in 2003, seeing that sustainability is now part of all categories, the chapter did add a People's Choice Award for the first time.

Below is a list of the winners and a video of the ceremony. Visit the AIASF website for more information on the winners.
