Alvar Aalto Foundation Collaborates with Google

The collaboration uses two of Google's technologies: Street View and the Cultural Institute; the former includes "visits" inside 8 of Aalto's buildings**, and the latter consists of 2 exhibits** as well as over 100 items (photos, drawings, portraits, etc.).

"Sharing information about Aalto and comprehensively responding to the needs of our various audiences are fundamental to our work," says Alvar Aalto Foundation director Tommi Lindh in a statement. "This collaboration is a major step by the Alvar Aalto Foundation towards better accessibility and visibility. We want to be accessible to everyone who does not have a chance to visit our sites in person."
